Siem Reap, Cambodia — weekly meetups for travelers, expats & locals

About the club

A friendly table in a remarkable town.

Siem Reap Social Club is a volunteer-run meetup community — no memberships, no tickets, no velvet rope. Just regular, easygoing gatherings where anyone can pull up a chair.

How it started

Everyone knows how it feels to be new.

Temples at sunrise, night markets, riverside cafés — Siem Reap gives you plenty to do. What it doesn’t hand you automatically is people to do it with. Travelers pass through in a blur, expats settle into routines, and locals rarely cross paths with either.

The club exists to close that gap. We put a time and a place on the calendar — a bar table on Friday, coffee on Thursday morning — and whoever turns up, belongs. Some weeks it’s six people, some weeks it’s twenty. It works either way.

We’re relaunching through 2026 with a fresh weekly lineup. If you’re reading this before we’ve met — come be one of the early faces.

What we’re about

Three things we try never to lose.

01

Open to everyone

Travelers on day three, expats on year ten, locals who’ve never left — same table, same welcome. Turning up alone is the most normal thing here.

02

Local at heart

We meet in independent cafés and bars around town, because supporting the places that make Siem Reap special is part of the point.

03

Simple on purpose

No apps to download, no sign-ups, no name tags unless you want one. We announce, you show up, and everything else takes care of itself.

The next table has your name on it.

Jump into the WhatsApp community to see where we’re meeting next — or just watch the Facebook page and turn up.
